Schooled

Last night when I got home from Knit Night, me and Ethan decided to play his favourite video game (We Love Katamari) in my mom's room.  She's got one of those gigantic really horrible looking mirror-dresser things.

I look up, and see this:

Me: What's that?

Ethan: Oh, that's a dead person...

Me: What happened to him?

Ethan: He tried to commit suicide, but he failed because they caught him, so they hung him.

Me: Who's 'they'?

Ethan: The Catholic Church.

Me: Oh...of course. And when did this all take place?

Ethan: It took place from 1660-1680 in England, after the Black Plague.

Me: Uhhh...

How does he know this? I know they don't teach this to him in school. I sure as hell didn't. If anyone wants to be home schooled by my son, let a girl know. I WILL HOOK YOU UP.
